A journey toward spiritual balance through sight, sound and spoken word.
Beginning Until The End
The persistent pursuit
Of life’s glorious route
Requires much more than it seems.
Our focused intent
Is a scout that is sent
To lay out the pathway to dreams.
The knowledge we gain
Through the rocky terrain
Builds tools we will need on the way.
If we run or we crawl,
If we rise when we fall,
The trek will begin new every day.

The Road to Veritas

Born in a small town in northern New Mexico and raised in southern Colorado, Doug Benton attended the University of Denver. Shortly after college, he began to pursue a career in broadcasting, which eventually led him to become a Christian broadcaster, pastor, and administrator of a Christ-centered transitional home in southern Oregon.
The Road to Veritas is a series of poems that reflect the truth that was gleaned from this journey.
