The Bully Bog Frog  

A fat old frog sat on a log

And blinked into the sun

Amidst a group of polly wogs

 He'd only just begun

To spin the tail that never failed

To tell all frogdem why

The fat old frog

from Bully Bog

Could always catch a fly. 

Now Bully Bog's

a place where frogs

And other creatures stay

Where "beasties" feed on "beasties" 'cuz

There is no other way

And if you're like the average frog

You let the time go by

Just sittin' in the open

And a hopin'

        for a fly. 

But the fat old frog

from Bully Bog

Said, "now listen carefully, folks,

There's one thing I must teach you all

Before I off and croaks

S'no such thing as disadvantage

In most everything you try

'Cuz I know a way

so's any day

You can always catch a fly." 

"Now seems all the frogs

 and polly wogs

Avoid the northern slough

 'Cuz the farmer's cows all graze up there

And you know what they do.

Their "patties" are a frightful mess

So need I tell you now

The finer frogs

of Bully Bog

Will not approach a cow.

So Bully Bog's

 plumb full of frogs

 But not too many flies.

There's too many empty tummies

And too many froggy eyes;

But way up on the northern slough

 Is where the fat frog lies

'Cuz you have to brave the bull shit

If you want to catch some flies."
